Rutherford Junior High has amazing sports facilities to aid in the education and up-skilling of students in their respective sporting codes.

These facilities include an indoor sports centre that caters for:

• Netball 
• Basketball
• Volleyball
• Badminton.  

In addition to this there are areas for fitness training and a 30 person lecture room.
